Tylor Golden joined Boreham Wood in July 2026 following his departure from fellow National League side Altrincham. A versatile and athletic defender, Golden came through the academies of Ipswich Town, Manchester City, Rochdale and Blackburn Rovers before joining Wigan Athletic, where he made his senior debut and signed his first professional contract.
He went on to gain valuable experience with Salford City, FC Halifax Town and Altrincham, alongside loan spells at Droylsden, Nantwich Town and Notts County, establishing himself as one of the National League’s most consistent full backs.
Comfortable on either flank as left or right back, Golden combines strong defensive qualities and attacking intent to impact the game at both ends of the pitch. Having helped FC Halifax Town lift the FA Trophy in 2023 and amassed almost 200 senior appearances, he arrives at Meadow Park with a wealth of experience and adds further quality and versatility to Luke Garrard’s squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
