Boreham Wood Football Club can confirm that goalkeeper Nathan Ashmore has joined Enterprise National League North outfit Bedford Town, reuniting with the Eagles on a loan until the end of the season.
After moving to Meadow Park in 2019, first on loan before completing a permanent transfer the following year, the 35-year-old shot stopper has become a firm fan favourite in WD6, playing a crucial part in last season’s promotion back to the summit of the Non-League.
Nathan joins up with the Bedford Town squad ahead of their league clash with Chorley tomorrow afternoon. Everyone at the club would like to wish him the best of luck during his third spell at the New Eyrie.
