Cameron Coxe extends!

The Club are delighted to announce that full back and fans’ favourite, Cameron Coxe has extended his contract, keeping him at Meadow Park until at least the end of the 2025/26 season!

‘Coxey’ initially joined on loan from EFL side Colchester United at the back end of 2022, later making his stay at Meadow Park permanent in late December of that year. Since then, the Welshman has played a significant role and is now approaching 100 appearances in a Wood shirt.

During the 2024/25 campaign, Cameron found playing opportunities difficult and would embark on a brief loan move to National League South side Salisbury but returned during the season’s latter stages. The Wood number two then fought his way back into Luke Garrard’s side and was instrumental in our final push for promotion back to step one.

And of course, who can forget him heading home the late equaliser against Dorking Wanderers in our Play-Off Eliminator before Femi Ilesanmi fired in our dramatic winner? We are all thrilled to have Cameron back on board for next season and we again look forward to watching him play a crucial role as we return to National League football.
