Boreham Wood Football Club are thrilled to announce that right-back James Clarke has extended his contract with the Club, keeping him at the Mangata Developments Stadium until the end of the 2027/28 season with the option of a further year.
James joined the Wood in March from Solihull Moors, a club where he was a firm fan’s favourite, and he instantly became a crucial part of Luke Garrard’s side, starting in eight of our final nine Enterprise National League fixtures as well as all three play-off games and helping keep six clean sheets in the process.
However, it wasn’t just defensively where ‘Clarkey’ made his mark in a Wood shirt as the 26-year-old netted an impressive derby day hat-trick in our 5-1 win at home to 2025/26 ISUZU FA Trophy finalists, Wealdstone.
We are delighted to have James on board and look forward to continuing to see him in action at Meadow Park as the Club aims for promotion to the coveted EFL in years to come.
