Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted to announce our participation in the 2025/26 National League Cup, a competition involving National League teams as well as U21 teams participating in the Premier League’s PL2 competition.
The National League Cup is a 32-team midweek competition, comprising of sixteen teams participating in the National League, and 16 teams participating in PL2.
The competition, entering its second edition, will consist of a group stage (four groups of eight), with the two best-placed teams in each group advancing to a knock-out stage to determine the winner.
All National League teams will play matches at home, with PL2 teams always playing away.
The Wood have been assigned to Group B alongside PL2 sides Leicester City, Nottingham Forest, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers, a group also consisting of fellow National League outfits Braintree Town, Forest Green Rovers and Wealdstone.
Nottingham Forest (H) – Tuesday 12 August, 19:00 kick-off
West Bromwich Albion (H) – 16/17 September, 19:00 kick-off
Wolverhampton Wanderers (H) – 21/22 October, 19:00 kick-off
Leicester City – 25/26 November, 19:00 kick-off
Quarter-final – 27/28 January
Semi-final – 17/18 February
Final – 17/18 March
