This coming Saturday, Boreham Wood’s promotion seeking first team, do not have a competitive game. With that in mind, we are inviting all our supporters both young and old to come to the club and meet both our manager Ian Allinson and his players.
It will give the Gaffer and the players a chance to thank you all for your continued support and they will be on hand to answer any questions that you may have, regarding this season, the play offs or the future with an informal Q and A session.
Having lost to Hemel Hempstead on Tuesday night in the Herts Senior Cup, we still have much too look forward to. Next Saturday we travel to Chelmsford City and that will give us our final league position with second place and home advantage in the play offs a distinct possibility.. Please note for those with children, there will also be goodie bags and giveaways for the kids handed out and baseball caps for the adults given away..
Finally for those who might be interested, next years home and away kits will also be unveiled and these will be available to purchase from July, 1st 2015 or to be pre booked by placing your order with Grant Morris.
So for our supporters information, the players will begin training at around 12:30. They will then be available to meet our supporters in the ‘Gallery Suite’ from around 2:15 onwards.
The reserves will also play their important Suburban league semi final at the club, with a 3pm kick off and entrance for this game is ‘FREE’.
The Chairman has informed us that he will be providing a buffet for both the supporters and players on the day and for those wishing to watch both the Arsenal FA Cup semi final and the Chelsea v Manchester United league game, they will both be shown simultaneously in the club bars.
With the Play-offs now secured, with our title challenge hanging by a thread and with a top 2 finish and home advantage in the play-offs still more than possible. The club has never been stronger or more confident of making this a season to remember.
We really do hope as many of you can find the time to make it, so tell your friends, family and bring the kids, we look forward to seeing you all at the club on Saturday.
“COME ON THE WOOD”
