AFTER SCHOOL FOOTBALL

After school football sessions are returning on the 9th January In association with the National League Trust. Our community sessions will be every Tuesday during school term, the Boreham Wood Community Trust and their community coaches will host coaching sessions for the local community, so make sure to get involved!

LITTLE LEARNERS

Time: 4.00pm to 4.30pm
Age Group: 3-to-5 years-old
Price: £4.00 per session or £30.00 for a block booking of 10.

The 30 minute sessions work on the children’s basic football skills, including passing, dribbling and shooting. The training then ends with small sided games, allowing the players to showcase what they have learnt.

JUNIOR TRAINERS

Time: 4.00pm to 5.00pm
Age: 6-to-8 years-old
Price: £5 per session or £40 for a block booking of 10.

These sessions provide the next step in the children’s development and cover a wide range of skills, including; intermediate level passing, dribbling, control, shooting and match related drills. These sessions are slightly more detailed and again end with small-sided matches, so that the children can put into practice what they have learnt.

FUTURE STARS

Time: 4.00pm to 5.00pm
Age: 9-to-11 years-old
Price: £5 per session or £40 for a block booking of 10.

The coaching will cover all basic and more advanced techniques, including; passing, dribbling, control, technique, skills and shooting, with advanced practices and detailed content. Training will also include match related drills to improve the players understanding of formations, movement and communication. These drills are then progressed into small-sided games, allowing the children to put into practice what they have learnt.

 

WILD CATS FEMALE SESSION

Time: 4.00pm to 5.00pm
Age: 5-to-11 years-old
Price: £3 per session

Are you looking for a fun way for girls 5-11 to get involved with football? Then look no further! Weetabix Wildcats is the place to be, everyone is super awesome; from the friends you’ll meet to The FA qualified coaches and volunteers who deliver the sessions.

So, what is Weetabix Wildcats? Well, it’s non-competitive football for girls who want to give it a go for the very first time or want to play with other girls their own age. Most importantly, Weetabix Wildcats is all about having loads of fun and meeting new amazing friends.
