Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted to announce that due the interest from its supporters, that we have booked a supporters coach to Carlisle..
After our initial press release, stating we would not be running a coach, so many supporters contacted the club wishing to travel if the price was more affordable and we are now in a position to not only make it affordable but to take bookings..
As such you are now required to pay in full asap and bookings must be made between now and this weekend or the coach would for obvious reasons have to be cancelled. We need your initial interest to turn into Coach ticket sales.
The club has also decided to offer another incentive to our supporters one FREE match ticket for anyone who books two or more coach tickets, as we look at every possibility of keeping costs to a minimum to get you all to Carlisle. The price of the coach is now set at £40 return.. unfortunately we cannot do concessions for this trip but anyone travelling who is under 16 will also receive a FREE club scarf..
We apologise for the late travel announcements.. However our Chairman and office staff have been looking at every which way to save on costs for you and to subsidise where possible.. The club genuinely wishes to thank you again for your support on Saturday, it played such a big part in getting us a result. We now want to thank you in advance for your efforts in travelling on Tuesday. It really will be huge lift to the players to see you all there and it will help them enormously as they try to get you a result..
Please note: The supporters coach will leave the club on Tuesday morning at 11am sharp and will return straight after the game. Hopefully we have produced for you a memorable performance, before you arrive back in Boreham Wood in the early hours of Wednesday morning..
The coach we have booked is an executive coach, it is equipped with a DVD player, hot and cold air conditioning and has toilet facilities.
As we’ve said before, we know we are massive underdogs, we know we’re already written off but we are ‘The Wood’ we are a town and club more than used to that.. With your support we hope and believe we have the spirit of the town to pull off the impossible… and what a night we’ll have, those band of few who travelled can forever say that night at Brunton Park, we believed, we came, we conquered… WE WERE THERE!!..
