Wood Face Arsenal In Their Game Of The Season!
Wood are gearing up for what Arsene Wenger has called our “Game Of The Season” this coming Saturday. Mr Wenger will officially open our fabulous new West Stand which has already sold out.
It promises to be a cracking atmosphere with tickets going fast. That is no surprise given that Mr Wenger will be fielding a very strong side, blending a mix of experience and youth.
The game is a “big feature of Arsenal’s pre season”, according to The Gunners Boss, given that they have just four matches to organise before contesting the Charity Shield at Wembley. Mr Wenger is keen to look at all of his available squad and will be fielding two separate elevens in which ALL of his available first team squad members will be utilised.
Drawing upon experience Mr Wenger stated, “ We know what these type of matches can bring. We had the same experience against Barnet and sometimes we fail to beat these teams. For Boreham Wood it will be their game of the season. It will be very interesting!”
The towns folk of Boreham Wood are due out in numbers , yet a few tickets are still available from the Box Office.
It promises to be a superb occasion and the atmosphere created by the large crowd given the new excellent stand will be one to remember!
