Wood Chairman Danny Hunter, has today advised our Media & Communications Manager Grant Morris that he will pick up the entire minibus travel club costs to Woking on Monday 28th December.

After subsidising the travel club for all away games this season, and then heavily contributing to our supporters first class train fares to Barrow, that was subsequently postponed. The Wood Chairman has once again put his hand in his pocket and is offering all Wood fans the chance to travel to Woking on Monday, 28th December absolutely ‘FREE’..

Four travel club minibuses complete with drivers are set aside for the trip to Woking and bookings are now being taken online by clicking HERE. You can also reserve your seat by visiting the club shop on Boxing day.

PLEASE NOTE; there will be a £10 deposit required to reserve your seat, to ensure everyone turns up on the day and this will be refunded on departure.. Can we also remind all those who do travel with our official supporters travel club, that we operate a strictly adhered to NO ALCOHOL POLICY on our minibuses and all supporters will be vetted before your place is confirmed.

On providing the free travel to Supporters Wood Chairman Danny Hunter said “I want to show our travelling supporters, just how much I appreciate their efforts, simply because they are a loyal bunch and by giving them a helping hand with their travel costs, it helps them save a few quid over the festive period..

“Christmas is an expensive time for us all but if the fans want to put themselves out and get themselves down to Woking to show their support. Then I’ll sort out the transport to get them there and hopefully the players will give us all something to shout about”.. He concluded.
