Tarryn Allarakhia joined Boreham Wood in the summer of 2026 from Rochdale, bringing a wealth of National League and English Football League experience. A skillful and creative attacking midfielder, Allarakhia began his career in Leyton Orient’s academy before enjoying senior spells with Colchester United, Crawley Town, Woking, Wealdstone and Rochdale. Renowned for his flair, technical ability and versatility across the frontline, he arrives at Meadow Park as one of the division’s most exciting attacking talents.
Away from domestic club football, Allarakhia has represented Tanzania on the international stage, featuring at both the 2023 and 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, helping the Taifa Stars reach the knockout stages for the first time in their history in the latter tournament. His experience at the highest level of African football, combined with his creativity and attacking quality, makes him an exciting addition to Luke Garrard’s squad.
