Regan Booty initially joined Boreham Wood on loan from Barrow in November 2025 before making the move permanent in January 2026 for an undisclosed fee. A technically gifted midfielder, Booty began his career at Huddersfield Town, where he captained the club’s under 23 side, before enjoying spells with Notts County, Maidstone United, Gateshead and Barrow. His performances also earned him an England C call-up in 2023.
Comfortable dictating the tempo of a game, Booty is renowned for his outstanding passing range and vision, regularly setting up promising attacks while contributing with goals and assists of his own. After making an immediate impact during his initial loan spell, his permanent signing was a natural progression, and he has since established himself as a key figure in Wood’s midfield with his composure and creativity on the ball.
