Tom White joined Boreham Wood in the summer of 2025 from Morecambe, bringing a wealth of Football League and National League experience to the club’s midfield. A composed and hard-working defensive midfielder, White began his career at Gateshead, where his impressive performances earned two England C caps before securing a move to Blackburn Rovers. He went on to gain further experience through loan spells with Barrow, Bolton Wanderers and Hartlepool United.
Following permanent spells with both Barrow and Morecambe, White arrived at Meadow Park with more than 250 senior appearances to his name. His leadership, tenancity and consistency quickly made him an influential figure in the heart of the Wood’s midfield, playing a key role in the club’s successful 2025/26 campaign as Boreham Wood lifted the National League Cup and reached the National League Promotion Final.
