Danny Cashman joined Boreham Wood in August 2026 on a season-long loan from Crawley Town until the end of the 2026/27 season. The 25-year old adds experience to the Wood ranks, blending National League and Football League experience. Cashman offers bundles of technical ability, moulding a direct play-style with clinical output.
He started his career in the Brighton & Hove Albion academy ranks having joined the Seagulls at the age of 11. He went on to the captain the side at U18s level before completing a permanent move to Coventry City. Cashman then made loan moves to the likes of Rochdale, Walsall, and Altrincham before departing the Sky Blues by mutual consent in 2023. He then returned to Worthing where he established himself as one of non-leagues standout attacking talents, scoring 28 goals in 79 appearances. Cashman’s outstanding form earned him a move to hometown Crawley Town, where an injury-disrupted campaign led to a loan spell with National League side Sutton United.
Cashman joins up with Luke Garrard’s squad ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.
