Boreham Woods talented group of U18 youngsters have cruised into their third final in 21 days with a comprehensive 8-0 victory away at Kings Langley in the Brian Hitchings Cup semi final.

Wood went in at the interval 2-0 up, with goals from Sammy Doolan and Robet Hastings. However they came out in the second half in menacing form adding 6 more goals, including two more from both Robert Hastings, who secured his hat trick, while a brace from steve O’Connor as well as singles from Dean Rubinia and Karl Brown completed the rout.

Wood’s PASEHead Coach Luke Garrard said “The season is building nicely and this set of Under 18’s have every chance of winning the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League title, the Champions of Champions Cup and The Brian Hitchings Cup. They also reached the first round proper of the FA Youth Cup so I’m very pleased with their progress.”
