Wood Army, as possibly the biggest game in the Club’s 73-year history approaches when Wood take on Millwall of the Championship in our FA Cup 3rd Round match up at Meadow Park in under a week’s time, we need your support!

Following victories against Wimborne Town, Southend United and Canvey Island, we have reached the 3rd Round of the FA Cup, alongside the giants of English football, for the first time in our history. Unfortunately, under current government guidelines this will sadly be behind closed doors without the loyal Wood Army cheering the team on.

PROMOTION VIDEO – “WHAT DOES THE FA CUP MEAN TO YOU?”

First of all, we are asking members of the Wood Army to be a part of our build up promotional video series called “what does the FA Cup mean to you?” There will be 3 episodes within the series; a players episode, a management and staff episode and a fans episode. This is where we need your help!

What does it entail?

Our Media Manager Nicole Cox will conduct a short Zoom call with selected Wood Army members and will ask a number of questions on what Boreham Wood FC and the FA Cup means to you. Your answers will be clipped, edited and put into a promotional video to create anticipation and build up the sense of occasion in the lead up to Millwall visiting Meadow Park next week.

How to be involved?

Email Media Manager Nicole Cox via ncoxbwfc@gmail.com stating your name(s) (families welcome), why you want to be involved and season ticket number, if applicable. Please note there are limited spaces so we cannot accept all applications.

GOOD LUCK MESSAGES

We are asking the Wood Army to send in your good luck wishes and messages of support, so that we can show the team ahead of the game and put across our social media channels! It would be great to build positive energy on our FA Cup journey and have as many of the Wood Army as involved as we possibly can in these very uncertain times…

The messages do not have to be long and can be done via video or written. We just want to build FA Cup spirit within the town and across our community as we make history playing into the 3rd Round for the first time in our 50th FA Cup campaign!

How to send your messages or support?

Twitter – Tweet and tag @boreham_woodfc with your message of support. This can be a video or written message.

Email – Alternatively, you can send your messages, whether video or written, via email to ncoxbwfc@gmail.com.

Facebook – Lastly, post a message of support in the Official Wood Army Facebook Group and our media team will pick up on it.

Thank you for your continued support!

OUR CLUB. OUR TOWN. OUR COMMUNITY.
