BWFC are thrilled to announce Martin Brennan as the club’s new Goalkeeper Coach ahead of the 2019/20 season.

Brennan, 36, is a former professional keeper having featured for Charlton Athletic and Cambridge United as well as enjoying a brief spell in non-league football.

After hanging up his gloves, Brennan went on to set up his own business, Developing Goalkeeping UK offering coaching, advice, education, camps and apparel for young
and aspiring keepers.

“When I heard there was an opportunity to come to the club I was very keen” said Brennan. “It’s been a great start with such a positive environment that the manager creates as
well as a very hard-working group of players”.

“The club seem to have a direct vision of where they want to go and after spending two years out of the game setting up my own business, I was very keen to get back in. “I would like to thank the manager and chairman for giving me this chance to help develop the goalkeepers and effect the team by supporting the manager and his staff to achieve some great things at the club.”

BWFC Manager Luke Garrard said: “I’ve known Martin for a few years now and it’s going to be a positive experience to work with him on a daily basis. “He has brilliant energy and a fantastic professionalism after working at Fulham and Wycombe. “He will bring a very good standard of coaching to the goalkeeping department and I’m sure our keepers will enjoy working with him.”

Welcome to the club, Martin!
