Boreham Wood Football Club are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join the ground staff at Meadow Park.
Boreham Wood FC are a professional football club who play in the Vanarama National League and is also the home of Arsenal Women.
Practicing a range of grounds maintenance duties at the club’s stadium and artificial training facility, the successful candidate will work alongside and receive mentoring from industry leading professionals at Arsenal Football Club gaining valuable experience on a Desso grass master pitch, working to the highest standards as expected in elite football.
Reporting to the Head Groundsman, responsibilities include:
– Undertake routine preperation and maintenance work on our Desso grass master and synthetic 3G pitches
– Set up sports pitches or amenity surfaces for games
– Undertake minor construction and landscaping work
– Operate a range of horticultural machinery ensuring vehicles and equipment are regularly maintained
The position is 40 hours per week, 8.30am – 4.30pm, with some match day work required.
