In light of Monday’s announcement from the Government, allowing the return of spectators into Stadiums at the elite level of sport, the Club has worked diligently in response to this news to provide an update for Wood season ticket holders.
The Club has, of course, processed all season tickets that were retained by the Wood Army for the 2020/21 season and from December 2nd these will be available to be sent out or collected once lockdown restrictions are lifted.
Our Club Chairman made a statement yesterday on this news and feels he has been put in a difficult position as the safety of our fans must always come first. Rest assured we are committed to this idea and confident that we can accommodate up to 1,000 supporters safely within our Meadow Park Stadium on the initial return of spectators next month. Then, once the Safety Advisory Group (SAG), our COVID Manager and our Safety Officer are happy for this number to rise, it will do so, but for now, we will gradually get back to “normal.”
As such at this early stage we will admit all our home season ticket holders and we will not open our bars for the initial home games. On top of this, we will initially only allow a further 200 home fans entry via pre-purchased match tickets, which will allow us to then cater for a small number of home directors, away directors, media and a percentage of away fans, which has yet to be determined. In addition, we will be operating a strict face masks policy, where admission would be denied without a face covering.
How do I get my season ticket?
The process on how to get your physical season ticket ahead of our next home game against Aldershot Town on Saturday 12th December has been finalised, giving season ticket holders the options of collection or delivery. Season ticket holders will be contacted by our admin team today to see which option they would prefer.
COLLECTION
Monday to Friday: 12pm-5pm from the Main Club Office
Match Days: Saturday’s from 12pm, whilst midweek matches from 5pm, both from the ticket office.
DELIVERY
Should you opt for this choice, these will be sent out on Thursday 26th November once all season ticket holders have been contacted.
