Do you want to become a part of the UK’s leading Sports and Education programme which is completely FREE, apart from a small training kit cost?

Well this is your big chance to trial for our record-breaking academy as our next open evening will be on Wednesday 19th June (Registration at 4pm).

BW PASE is an all abilities academy which caters for everyone’s individual needs and desires. Whether you are looking for a pathway into football, work or a first-class further education, we want to help you!

There are clear pathways from PASE (Programme for Academic and Sporting Excellence) into the first team as our very own Sorba Thomas and many others have shown. In fact, when Sorba was still a PASE student, he played for the first team at Wembley Stadium in the 2017/18 Promotion Final and has since regularly featured in the side.

The academy has also produced the likes of Wolves’ Ben Goodliffe, Glasgow Rangers’ Lee Hodson, Rotherham United’s Kyle Vassell and Luton Town’s Pelly Ruddock, to name just a few.

We’ve produced proven non-league strikers like Corey Whitely at Ebbsfleet United and Simeon Akinola at Barnet and more recently helped the likes of Bruno Andrade and Grant Smith win the League 2 title at Lincoln United. Morgan Ferrier at Walsall, Lee Angol at Shrewsbury and Junior Morias at Northampton, who all earned their moves into the Football League after impressing at Boreham Wood.

The Wood Academy has become a breeding ground for young talent and continues to produce International players with seven scholars earning prestigious call-ups for their country with England Colleges over the last 14 months alone.

Last season proved to be another highly successful campaign with our U19’s becoming National Champions of England and Wales, their third National title in the last two seasons.

The PASE Academy was set up by our Chairman Danny Hunter in 2002 and he has created a scheme that provides 16-to-18-year-olds of all abilities the chance to join a sports & education programme that really cares.

The facilities at Boreham Wood are first class with a Premier League standard million-pound grassmaster Desso surface, a new 5th Generation astro pitch and a state-of-the-art gymnasium.

The work that the players do on the pitch is then backed up by our Sky Sports style smart boards which enables our coaches to review matches and go through things tactically with the scholars.

The players are coached by our superb UEFA and FA licensed coaches which include our first team manager Luke Garrard and many of our current first team players.

If you sign up for the BW PASE Academy you will also receive a FREE Boreham Wood season ticket so that you can learn from and cheer on your day to day coaches and potential teammates at no extra charge.

Boreham Wood, in conjunction with our long-standing education partners Barnet and Southgate College, offer you the most diverse array of academic courses in the country for this type of scheme and have a track record of success in regards to record retention and record course success rates with over 670 students taken on in the last academic year.

PASE also offers a wide range of tailor-made courses that provide its students with an educational programme that marries up to their training programme. These courses include BTEC, CYQ, Construction and A-levels.

If you choose to study alternative courses, we have options available in Art, Business, Drama and ICT as well as the stock BTEC in Sports Science courses. In truth, whatever your preference, our PASE scheme genuinely has you covered!

Our esteemed education programme is world renowned and has led and is still leading to numerous students going off to University and continuing their education on soccer scholarships over the pond in the USA.

Our training programmes always work around the students’ academic timetables so that our scholars can achieve the course and football success they need both on-and-off the field.
