Having endured what can only be described as a pre-season of difficulties with both agents and striker Morgan Ferrier, an agreement has been reached with Walsall Football Club for the sale of our unsettled striker today.
Wood Chairman Danny Hunter said: “Walsall contacted us, conducted themselves wonderfully throughout and made what we consider to be a very fair offer for all concerned. As such, we gave Morgan permission to speak with them and he has quickly agreed personal terms.
“As such, it was an easy decision to allow Morgan to join them with immediate effect and he will be available for them against Plymouth tomorrow. We all wish both Morgan and Walsall the very best of luck in the future and we hope that Morgs is a huge, huge success there.”
