The Wood are at home again in the National League this Tuesday, September 4 (7.45pm), when we welcome Chesterfield to Meadow Park. Here’s our preview…
Match Details
Tickets will be available to purchase on the gates, on the day of the game. Ticket prices are as follows: Adults £19; OAPS £14, under 16’s £9 and under 12’s £5.
These prices are to sit or stand. The West and East stands are seated, and the North and South stands are standing.
The match will be segregated, and the nearest public car park is stationed in Brook Road and adjacent to stadium.

Luke Garrard has no fresh injury concerns going into the game.
Justin Shaibu and Ryan Huddart both returned to the squad for the game against Braintree Town and are once again available for selection.

The Wood followed up a successful Bank Holiday Weekend, with a point at home to Braintree Town on Tuesday.
Garrard’s side had come from behind against both Halifax Town and Maidstone United to win both games 2-1.
Joshua Umerah netted his first goals for the club in those games, nabbing three in the process.
The Wood then took the lead against Braintree, when Jamal Fyfied netted his first for the club at a free-kick.
However, The Iron came from behind themselves to grab a draw, with Mohamed Bettamer scoring a free-kick.
Managed by 53-year-old former Barnet manager Martin Allen, Chesterfield were relegated from the Football League last season.
The Spireites won their first three games in the National League, but are now on the back of five successive defeats.
One to Watch – Curtis Weston
31-year-old midfielder Curtis Weston joined the Spireites from Barnet in the summer of 2018, after a six-year spell with the Bees.
Weston is the Spireites midfield general and opened his account in the win over Braintree earlier in the season.
Weston has also had permanent spells with Leeds United and Gillingham, before his six-year spell with Barnet.
During his time with the Bees, he held the captaincy and won the Conference Premier title in 2014-15.

“It doesn’t matter if we play Wrexham who are top now, Braintree who are bottom, or Chesterfield who come down, every game is going to be tough.
“They have lost five on the bounce now under Martin Allen, so he is going to come here with the bit between his teeth, like he would do anywhere and want to go and win a game of football.
“They need to get back on a run, so it is for us to make sure that we are positive.
“And, it is for us to make sure that we go about our business and nullify their strengths, and try and exercise our strengths on their weaknesses.”
