Just 48 hours after our fine win against Dorchester Town, Ian Allinson’s men are back in action at Meadow Park. They can expect an all together different opposition given the Hampshire outfits current form.

Congratulations to The Hawks for making it through to the last eight in the F A Trophy, winning a hard fought encounter by the odd goal against Ebbsfleet United yesterday.

That win makes them unbeaten in ten matches in all competitions with Sahr Kabba with twelve goals in all competitions the main man to watch for the Wood defence.

Mark Jones is again available for this tie, although Ian Allinson will be hard pressed to make changes given our fine performance yesterday. That said Allinson reports, “ A few knocks and niggles meaning we will have to look at options for the Havant game.”

The visitors are three points and one place ahead of ourselves although they have three games in hand. Given that a host of teams below us also have to play catch up, it is essential that we continue our momentum and look to join the mid table brigade.

It promises to be an entertaining encounter so make a date to cheer on the boys!

Home to Havant and Waterlooville.

Monday January 13th, kick off 7.45pm.
