The community of Boreham Wood has it appears been overcome with FA Cup fever over the last month following our victory over AFC Wimbledon in front of a sellout Meadow Park crowd.

Five official club coaches are now booked, paid for and unbelievably nearly all sold out as the Club eyes further FA Cup community togetherness with a trip to AFC Bournemouth in the 4th Round of the FA Cup. Luke Garrard and his team have created such a buzz around the whole Town and they now eye a further FA Cup upset, with the potential of reaching the last 16 of the FA Cup.

With our supporters, friends, family, academy and staff all travelling to Bournemouth in their numbers and with 1390 Wood supporters in attendance, this is going to be a very special day for all concerned.

Our journey to this point has seen us knock out rivals Barnet and then National League counterparts Eastleigh in the 1st Round proper. The draw was kind to us in the 2nd Round proper, as it created a never to be forgotten Hertfordshire derby against our good friends up the road in St Albans City in front of a packed LV BET Stadium and of course in front of the ITV cameras. Luke Garrard and his players followed that victory up with an unbelievable superhuman performance to live up to the underdog tag once again and beat League One side AFC Wimbledon.

So as a final reminder, we do now have very limited number of seats available on the last of the five official supporters’ coaches. So, why not leave your cars in Borehamwood, relax and hop onto the coach from Brook Road Car Park for what is sure to be a very special and emotional community day out?

For anyone wishing to book a coach seat and be part of our big day, book now to avoid disappointment.
