Members of the ecstatic Wood Army and our Chairman are starting to arrive back in Moscow from Samara, after yesterday’s historic 2-0 win against the mashed Swedes. There is no doubt they are all enjoying everything and more that Russia and this World Cup has to offer.
They are telling us they’re enjoying the atmosphere, football, food, the architecture, the feeling of safety and the very welcoming Russian people…And of course, enjoying England’s incredible progress that has now thrown up a historical match up with Croatia in the semi-final of the World Cup in Moscow.
Again, on Wednesday most of our local pubs will only be appealing to an older clientele and their regulars – and as our Chairman has said previously, it doesn’t seem to leave much choice for the many mums, dads and the young families out there. 
So on Wednesday, we are once again looking to attract a mainly family crowd for what is our country’s biggest ever game since Sir Alf, the legendary Bobby Moore, and the boys of 66 won the World Cup.
As such, we are again going to put on FREE sausage and chips and FREE lemonade and Coca Cola for all the kids under 12 on Wednesday. Also, the best dressed ‘England’ youngster will again get a free BWFC season ticket for the upcoming 2018/19 campaign.
SO COME ON MUMS AND FAMILIES OUT THERE – GET YOUR SINGING VOICES READY, GET THE KID’S FACES PAINTED, LET THE OLD MAN POODLE OFF TO THE PUB… GET THE KIDS BEDECKED IN THEIR BEST ENGLAND COLOURS AND ENJOY THE GAME AND THE ENGLAND WIN WITH US ON WEDNESDAY…
