The Wood will start the 2020/21 Vanarama National League campaign with a trip to North Wales to take on Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground on Saturday 3rd October.

The National League season will start in relentless fashion with no less than eight fixtures in the month of October as the football world tries to make up for lost time following the curtailment of the 2019/20 season and delayed start to this campaign.

Wood’s first home fixture will see recently relegated Macclesfield Town visit Meadow Park following a two-year stint in the EFL. The Silkmen find themselves back in Non-League’s top flight due to “off the pitch” irregularities resulting in a string of points deductions, which saw Hertfordshire rivals Stevenage reprieved at the hands of the Silkmen’s unfortunate demise.

The fixture list also sees Wood once again paired up with local rivals Barnet for our Boxing Day and New Year’s fixtures, with the Bees visiting Meadow Park on Boxing Day, whilst the Wood make the short trip to the Hive on Saturday 2nd January 2021.
