The BTEC Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Business (Year 1) is intended for learners aged 16 and over and aims to develop their knowledge, understanding and practical skills within the business sector. The qualification enables learners to explore areas such as business operations, marketing, finance, enterprise and the wider business environment, while developing transferable skills including communication, teamwork, problem-solving and independent learning to support progression into higher education, employment or further study.
The BTEC Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Business (Year 1) is designed as a 1-year, full-time course and provides learners with the skills and knowledge needed to progress onto the second year of a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Business, university, apprenticeships or other career opportunities within the business sector.
