Boreham Wood are delighted to announce the signing of 21-year-old Lewis Toomey from close neighbours St. Albans City FC.
Lewis signed for St. Albans in the summer of 2012 from Hertfordshire rivals Hemel Hempstead Town after impressing in a string of Pre Season friendlies with the Saints.
Whilst with the Saints, Lewis scored 12 goals in 21 appearances, with his most recent goal coming in their 6 – 2 defeat at the hands of Chesham United on New Years Day.
Everyone at Boreham Wood welcomes Lewis to the Club, and hopes his stay with us is a long and successful one.
