Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted to announce the Loan signing of striker Charlie Walker from Luton Town for the remainder of the season.
Walker is a prolific striker who joined the Hatters this summer after leaving Peacehaven & Telcombe. He scored 43 goals in total for his former side last season and helped them gain promotion.
Following an impressive pre-season with Luton Town, Walker signed a year long pro deal with the League two side. So far this season Charlie has been in impressive form for Luton’s Development squad, where he has played 8 times scoring an impressive 7 goals. He has also come off the bench for Luton’s 1st team on 3 occasions this season and impressed each time with his work rate.
Walker arrives at Meadow Park in time for him to go straight into Ian Allisons squad for the tough away trip to Weston Super mare.
