Boreham Wood Football Club have put two first team squad players out on loan for a month at Billericay Town in the Ryman Premier Division.

Billy Lobjoit, the clubs young star striker, who has been unlucky not to be given more match time recently. Hopefully Billy will get amongst the goals whilst at Billericay and gain much needed match fitness, and then return to Meadow Park full of confidence in time for the run in.

The other ‘Wood’ player joining Billericay Town on loan is the clubs England College International defender Sam Doolan. Sam is captain of ‘Wood’s’ development squad and will improve hugely from his loan experience.

Boreham Wood manager Ian Allinson said, “I need to get match time into both players for the run in, and having spoken to Craig Edwards at Billaricay, I am sure both boys will benefit from their experience and hopefully it works out well for all concerned…”

Everyone at Boreham Wood Football Club wish Billy and Sam the best of luck during their loan spell, and look forward to them rejoining us with games and match fitness under their belts ready for the season run in.
