The Wood will begin life in the National League with a home fixture against FC Halifax Town, before we embark on our travels with two away games against Eastleigh and Gateshead.
The Wood couldn’t have asked for a tougher start to the season as we take on three of the bookies favourites in the opening month of the season.
One fixture the supporters will look for with interest is the away day at Torquay United. This will be on Tuesday 22nd September.
Our fixtures over Christmas are against Braintree Home on Boxing Day and Away on 2nd January with a trip to Kingsfield sandwiched in between on Monday 28th December.
Being in the National League we now skip two rounds of the FA Cup and now Join in the 4th Qualifying round on Saturday 24th October.
We once again end the campaign away from home with a relatively short trip to Park View Road to take on Welling United.
It is hoped that the Woodarmy will turn out in their numbers on August 8th to cheer on Ian and the boys, as we start our first competitive season in the top division of Non-league Football.
