Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted that the FA Cup photo call they initiated at Tesco’s, was a huge success. Over thousand supporters and shoppers alike over a 3 hour period, got the chance to look, touch or get their photo taken with the FA Cup and for lots of youngsters it was their first glimpse of the Famous old Trophy.
The Club though is now very anxious to keep ticket sales buoyant, as the club can announce that ticket sales have now slowed to a trickle.
Community Manager Loretta Browne said “Many of our regular supporters have already purchased their tickets but the Club is worried that the rumour that the game is a sell out against Brentford is being taken seriously. That is way wide of the mark as we still have both seating and standing available and we need the town to come down to the club and purchase their ticket as soon as possible” she said..
