Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson will be bringing a strong squad to Meadow Park for their friendly against Boreham Wood tomorrow (7.30pm).

Hodgson will be taking charge of the match himself, as he gets set to pit himself against Wood gaffer Luke Garrard.

Amongst the first team players confirmed to feature at Meadow Park are fans’ favourite Jason Puncheon and former England international Martin Kelly.

Connor Wickham, Papa Souare and Joel Ward have also all been confirmed for the prestigious tie.

Boreham Wood are delighted to be welcoming former England manager Roy Hodsgon to Meadow Park. The 70-year-old is one of the most recognisable names in football management and he has enjoyed a vastly successful career.

During his time as England manager, he led the national side to the quarter finals of Euro 2012, winning 33 of his 56 matches in charge.

Hodgson is also famous for his spells in charge of Inter Milan and Fulham. During his time at Craven Cottage, he led the club to their highest ever Premier League finish – seventh place – and to the final of the Europa League, where they only lost to Atletico Madrid in extra-time.

The Eagles will be looking to put in their final preparations for the new Premier League season, which begins on Saturday, August 11, against Fulham.

The likes of Wilfred Zaha and co are also available for the match, should Hodgson choose to bring them with him.
