Boreham Wood FC are delighted to announce the signing of forward Scott Boden on a one-year contract, with an option of a further year.
The 31-year-old striker arrives at Meadow Park with a vast amount of National League experience, most recently having spent three years with Derbyshire outfit Chesterfield at this level. Boden in fact started out at hometown Club Sheffield United in 2007, and has enjoyed successful spells with Torquay United, Wrexham, Gateshead, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Newport County, FC Halifax Town and Macclesfield Town.
The Club want to give a warm welcome to a striker with a great attitude, great work ethic and who possesses a very good goal scoring record at National League level, as well as the level above, with 114 goals in a little over 400 career appearances, whilst boasting a goals-to-game ratio of one in every three matches at National League level.
