Following the success of the Community initiatives run prior to the matches against Arsenal and Solihull, the club are delighted to announce that they will once again be putting on free coaching sessions for children aged 5-to-12-years-old this Bank Holiday Monday.
The coaching sessions will run between 1-2pm prior to Monday’s match at home to Wrexham A.F.C. and all children participating will receive a FREE ticket to the match.
The offer is open to both Boreham Wood and Wrexham supporters, and any child who takes part will get a free ticket to the match (in the end of their chosen side).
Any Wrexham supporters who take part in the sessions in a full Wrexham kit (Socks, shorts and shirt) will be put into a draw to be a mascot for the match and lead their side out onto the pitch.
Registration for the sessions starts at 12.30 and will be run by the club’s famous PASE Academy coaching staff.
Make sure that your children does not miss this excellent opportunity to sharpen their footballing skills on the Wood’s brand-new 5G Astro turf.
The children will be training on the same pitch as their favourite stars, whether it be Marquee signing Keiran Murtagh, sharp shooting Paul Benson or our skipper Mark Ricketts, this is their chance to replicate their heroes.
The children will then all be able to watch the Wood for FREE, as they take on Wrexham in the National League.
Community Manager Micky Engwell said: “The sessions we have held so far have been so successful and have gotten great turnouts.
“The children always love the coaching that we put on and it helps to bring together the amazing community of Borehamwood.
“As always, our best PASE coaches will be on the Astro turf that day and will once again be looking to make the children into stars of the future.
“The children can then sit back and enjoy as their heroes take on Wrexham!”
