moliBoreham Wood Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of young striker David Moli from Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The highly-rated Democratic of Congo-born Moli, signed for Liverpool aged just 14 in January 2009 from Luton Town for an undisclosed fee.

He is a tall, powerful striker and was prolific for the Liverpool under-16s. He made his step up to the under-18 team in 2011.

In the 2011/12 pre-season, Moli gained attention after netting two hat-tricks. In one such match, he had a further two goals disallowed for offside.

His exploits for the Academy brought Moli to the attention of Wolves, and in January 2012, Moli signed a professional contract with the Molineux outfit and he has since been a regular in the under-21 side.

Moli had a loan spell with us in 2013 and was part of the Wood side that just failed to cause an FA Cup upset in Carlisle.

Following his release from Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of the season Moli was a free agent until signing for the Wood on Friday.

Welcome back David!!
