Boreham Wood FC would like to update our supporters on one or two things as we move forward and try to plan a progressive way to advance over the next twelve months

Firstly, we must announce our season ticket applications are now ‘temporarily closed’ for the forthcoming season, while we await detailed news on exactly what our new ‘limited stadium capacity’ might look like? As such we limited season ticket sales to 500 and would like to thank everyone of the 500 supporters who have purchased their season ticket.

Secondly, we would like to update all of our supporters in regard to when the new league season will begin. This has now been confirmed by the National League board as of Saturday 3rd October.

Thirdly, we wish to update you all on our current ‘signed’ squad for next season and though we are still in negotiations with many of last year’s play-off squad, the list below are only those players who are signed for next season and whose contracts have been ratified by the FA.

Nathan Ashmore

Danny Woodards

David Stephens

Tom Champion

Kane Smith

Mark Ricketts

Kieran Murtagh

Adam McDonnell

Piero Mingoia

Sorba Thomas

Matt Rhead

Kabby Tshimanga

We will as always keep our supporters and community informed over the summer of all club news and as we make further exciting signings. We’ll also update you as and when the league and FA give us their instructions on stadium capacities, player testing, on when we can open up our stadium and as we adapt to the ever-changing government guidelines.

In the meantime, trust that we are doing everything we can to remain solvent, strong and competitive, as we try to adapt to the new normal and as we look to build on the positives of last season.

Lastly anyone looking for ways to still help the club, help our community programmes and help our First Team budget for next season. You can do so by booking the kids on the community courses, by participating in our Trust’s 500 Club or simply by hiring a pitch on our state of the art 5G Astro facility, which is now back open.

We will be running three Summer Soccer Courses throughout the month of August. In line with government guidelines, spaces for each course are limited to 30 participants, so we advise if you are interested to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
