Following the FA Cup draw that saw the Wood given a home tie against Carshalton Athletic for a place in the 1st round proper of the FA Cup. Fans Liaison officer Grant Morris spoke with Chairman Danny Hunter to see if there was anything we could do for our younger fans and our most loyal supporters.

The chairman took the thought away and today informed us of his plans. He advised that he wants to see as many youngsters as possible at the Mangata Pay UK Stadium that he will personally pay for the first 100 Under 12 Tickets purchased. (Please note under 12’s need to be accompanied by an Adult and this offer is based on a Maximum of 3 Under 12 Tickets per Adult ticket purchased).

On top of that the Chairman has also advised the first 30 Adults that book and pay for their seat on the supporters coach to Weston Super Mare on the 19th October will not pay for their FA Cup ticket, as the Chairman will pick up the ticket costs personally.

Fans Liaison officer Grant Morris Commented “Firstly I would just like to thank our Chairman for putting his hand in his pocket once again and for his community care. I know this will be well received by the Wood Army, local primary Schools and the wider local community. Supporting the local community I know is something very important to our Club, the Chairman and if we can get a good crowd at Meadow Park against Carshalton, it could set us on our way to yet another historic run in the FA Cup.

Tickets for the game are on sale now and are priced as follows:

Adults/OAP – £15.00

U16 – £10.00

U12 – £5.00
