Bruno Andrade

Boreham Wood Football Club are absolutely delighted to have signed the pacey Portuguese winger, Bruno Andrade from Woking FC and our supporters can look forward to him getting us on the front foot.

Bruno was a player who had impressed manager Luke Garrard whenever he watched Woking last season and when he declined wokings offer of re engagement, Luke and the player quickly agreed terms..

Andrade who joined the QPR Academy aged just 13, went on to make a handful of first team appearances in his time there.. He also enjoyed brief loan spells at Aldershot Town in the 2011-12 season and then Wycombe Wanderers a year later where he made over 20 appearances.

In the following two seasons he had lengthy loan periods at Stevenage, making some 30 appearances. Before finally landing at Woking in the 2015/16 season..

Andrade made 32 league appearances scoring 6 goals for Woking last season and Wood manager Luke Garrard commented after getting his signature “Bruno is a good team player, he is creative and he can play down both sides. We’ve brought him here to improve us and to improve himself and we will quietly keep adding quality to the squad in the coming weeks as and when it becomes available. I’m only looking to sign the right type of characters and as Bruno only lives in Colindale, the clubs location is perfect for him and he’s a great age for me to continue his development” Garrard concluded..
