Boreham Wood FC are delighted to announce that we will be hosting our next ‘Virtual Open Day’ for our renowned BW PASE Academy on Wednesday 17th June at 6.00pm in collaboration with our education partners Barnet & Southgate College.

The virtual open day has been devised to give prospective BW PASE Academy hopefuls an opportunity to get an insight into what our Academy can offer them. This will be only our second ever virtual open day, with the first taking place last month, which was well received by prospective players and their parents/guardians.

The evening will be operated virtually via our website, where you will have to register for the virtual open day before joining our LIVE question and answer webinar, where our panelists can answer any questions that you may have in regard to our renowned BW PASE Academy. Panelists on the evening will be: –

  • Luke Garrard – Head of Football (BW PASE Academy) & First Team Manager (Boreham Wood FC)
  • Cameron Mawer – Academy Manager & First Team Coach
  • Sorba Thomas – First Team Player, Academy Coach & Academy Graduate
  • Tom Champion – First Team Player & Academy Lead Coach
  • Nihaad Kapdi – Barnet & Southgate College Curriculum Manager

On the evening, we plan to give you a more in-depth overview of the Academy, that prospective Academy players would typically get on our trial days. Unfortunately, given the current worldwide COVID-19 pandemic and necessary restrictions, this is something we are unable to do, and as such we want to give you an insight to our renowned Academy and what it can offer you from the comfort and safety of your own homes.

In the meantime, a series of videos are available on our ‘Virtual Open Day’ page for prospective players and parents/guardians to watch. These videos are designed to give you an insight on all aspects about the BW PASE Academy, including the following: –

  • Our coaching philosophy
  • Introduction of our coaching team
  • Overview of the facilities onsite at our Meadow Park home
  • Introduction of our education partners and course options
  • The BW PASE player pathway, including possible exit routes
  • Success stories, including accolades, PASE professionals and PASE internationals
