Boreham Wood FC are delighted to announce Ethan Tuttle as our Academy Player of the Month for October 2019.

During the month of October Ethan has played in a total of 6 games for the Academy at the heart of our defense at both Under 18 and Under 19 level, playing the entire 90 minutes of every occasion and putting in some fantastic performances.

Ethan is a first year Academy player and since arriving at Meadow Park in the Summer of 2019 has really bought into the philosophy and work ethic expected at the Club. Alongside his involvement on the football side of the Academy, Ethan has shown great application in the classroom whilst studying towards his BTEC Level 3 qualification with our Education partners Barnet & Southgate College. His tutor, Ingrid Christodoulou commented on Ethan, “In class Ethan always asks relevant questions and his work is always of a high standard. He has been excellent in all aspects of his college work and the award is well deserved. Well done, Ethan!”

As winner of the Player of the Month award, Ethan receives a PUMA winter set, inclusive of long sleeve undershirt, undershorts, snood and gloves.

Academy Manager Cameron Mawer commented, “Ethan is an absolute pleasure to have around the Club. As just a first year Academy player he sets the bar in terms of his enthusiasm for football and his desire to improve himself in every aspect each and every day. As a coach, you couldn’t ask for a better person to work with every day, as his attitude to improve and his effort in both training and matches is second to none. Congratulations, Ethan!”
