Boreham Wood would like to congratulate defender Kane Smith on his call up to the England C squad.
The attacking wing-back will join up with the three lions squad for their friendly against Ireland Amateur International XI.
The tie will be played on Sunday, May 27 (2.15pm) at the Whitehall Stadium in Dublin.
The call-up is a reward for Smith’s fine form this campaign, having become a key figure in Luke Garrard’s promotion chasing side.
Smith has scored twice in 44 league appearances since joining from Hitchin Town in the summer. The defender signed a new deal at Boreham Wood in January.
