Boreham Wood Football Club has signed eighteen year old centre forward Michael Thalassitis on a one month Loan from League One Club Stevenage.
Michael joined the Stevenage Youth Team at the start of the 2010/11 Season and scored seventeen goals in twenty-six games for the “Under 18” side. He also made seven Reserve Team appearances scoring two goals. He can also play as a centre half and in midfield, and signed a two year professional contract for Stevenage towards the end of last Season. Michael had an impressive First Team debut for Boreham Wood (Home) against Dartford on the 8 October 2011, and celebrated with a goal in the 3 – 1 victory.
