With the weather again putting paid to this weekend’s game against Eastbourne, the fixture backlog is now becoming a real conundrum.
With that in mind we decided to speak with our friends at Billericay Town this morning to discuss the weather outlook and what the likelihood was that our league fixture at their place on Tuesday would take place.
Both clubs therefor decided that as the forecast does show improving weather on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. That an extra day for the snow to thaw and the pitch to dry out would be in everyone’s interests and it would give every chance for the game to go ahead.
So we have agreed that the new date for the game is now this Wednesday, 27th March at New Lodge, Billericay with a 7:45 kick off.
It will also allow for the supporters of both clubs not to miss the England international against Montenegro that is live on TV on the Tuesday evening.
