WOOD SIGN THREE TO STRENGTHEN RANKS

6 September 2013

Boreham Wood FC are pleased to announce the signing of combative midfield player Jake Hall. Hall is a former Dagenham & Redbridge youth and reserve player who has also had spells with Grays and Bromley. He has recently trialled at both Gillingham and Luton Town and can play anywhere in midfield or at Right back..

Boreham Wood are also delighted to announce the signing of both Jake Woolley and Jerome Jibodu from Conference Premier side Luton Town on 93 day loan deals. Woolley made his Hatters debut as a 17 year old in a 2-2 draw with Darlington in the FA Trophy and after further impressing the coaching staff at Kenilworth Road, he signed his first professional contact with the club shortly after..

Jibodu is a product of the Luton Town academy, he had captained the under 18’s side and now needs to test himself by stepping into a good level of non league football. He is a defender that can play at either left or right back and made his Luton Town debut in the FA Trophy against Skelmsdale last season and recently signed his first professional contract with the club.

All three players will go straight into the squad for the trip to Weston Super Mare tomorrow.

On the trio’s arrival at Meadow Park, manager Ian Allinson said ” it’s no secret that I like my players to graft and to leave their game on the pitch. Our performance over the last two weeks have been poor and we have left our performances on the training pitch and people don’t get kicked out there or win points. Tomorrow I’m picking a team that will graft for me and reputations will mean nothing in my team selection. I expect a proper performance that will give us a platform to get our season back on track and trust me these three players will strengthen us and give me the selection headache that i need right now”.. He concluded.
