Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of full back Junior Robinson, who joins the Wood on loan from Premier League side West Ham United until the end of the season. The highly rated defender arrives at Meadow Park looking to gain further senior experience and becomes the latest addition to Luke Garrard’s squad.
Robinson came through the youth ranks at West Ham United, having joined the Academy at just six years old. A product of the Club’s renowned development system, the Bethnal Green-born defender enjoyed a standout youth career, making 28 appearances for the Hammers’ U18s during the 2021/22 campaign before earning opportunities with the U23s in the Premier League Cup. His progress was rewarded in the summer of 2022 when he signed his first professional contract, before going on to enjoy an impressive 2023/24 season with the U21s.
During the 2024/25 campaign, Robinson featured 24 times in all competitions for the U21s, scoring once, and has since gained senior experience through loan spells with Sutton United and Scottish Premiership side Livingston, featuring for Livi in their narrow 2-1 defeat to Rangers at Ibrox in November. An energetic and athletic full back, Robinson is also an England youth international, having represented the Young Lions at both U15 and U17 level, making his U17 debut against Belgium in 2020.
