Welcome back, Callum Reynolds!

31 January 2025

Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted to announce the re-signing of commanding defender and former club captain, Callum Reynolds. The highly experienced centre-half returns to WD6 on a permanent basis from League Two newcomers, Bromley and will wear the number 16 shirt for Luke Garrard’s side.

Reynolds initially made Meadow Park his home in 2012 and would go on to skipper us to National League promotion back in 2015, serving up a man of the match performance in our historic play-off final win over Whitehawk. A move to Aldershot Town would come next, in which Callum played a pivotal role in back-to-back play-off finishing squads of 2016/17 and 2017/18, followed by spells with Barnet, Dagenham and Bromley.

During his time at Hayes Lane, the centre-half was a key component in the Ravens’ campaign for Football League promotion and played the entirety of their Wembley play-off final triumph over Solihull Moors last season. Reynolds has accumulated a wealth of further high-level experience in his time away from Meadow Park, notably featuring 20 times for Bromley in League Two this season. The centre-half will no doubt bring great value and added leadership to the side in our quest for promotion.

Upon rejoining the club today, Reynolds stated: “It feels like I’ve come home. The club has improved a lot since I’ve left, the setup is professional. Coming in and seeing familiar faces made me feel welcome.

The club wants to get promoted; I want to get promoted. I haven’t come here just to enjoy it. I’ll bring my qualities and set high standards.”
