JORDAN BROWN2

Boreham Wood Football Club are delighted they have secured the signing of left back Jordan Brown.

Jordan who has been training at Luton Town in recent months and playing with their development squad comes with a very good pedigree. He started his career at West Ham United, before being sent out on Loan to Aldershot Town, on his release from West Ham United he then signed a short term deal at Crewe Alexandra before spending two seasons at Barnet.

In September 2014 Jordan trialled with Luton Town, impressing their management duo John Still and Terry Harris enough for them to then negotiate a deal with Boreham Wood on his behalf.

On the arrival of the talented defender Wood gaffer Ian Allinson Said “ Firstly I’d like to thank our Chairman, John Still and Terry Harris for working out a deal that enabled us to sign Jordan. I believe the player will not only improve with us but it’s a signing which again signifies our intentions to maintain a play-off challenge this season. Jordan will only get fitter, stronger and better the more he plays and for him to play he needs to perform and hit the ground running, it’s that simple. He is powerful, he reads the game well and more importantly he’s hungry to succeed with us. He will also continue to train with Luton full time, when not training and playing with us, which pleases me immensely. As such his fitness levels can only improve and he has games on a Saturday to look forward to”.. Allinson concluded.
