Boreham Wood FC is delighted to announce the loan signing of Zach Fagan from Arsenal.
Zach is a tall, commanding centre-back, who has been with Arsenal since the age of 10. He was one of three members of the Under-16s squad to progress into the Under 18’s during the 2011/2012 season.
He signed his first professional contract for the Club at the end of a solid season in 2012/2013, during which he started regularly for the under-18s. Zach was ever present in Arsenals FA Youth Cup campaign last season.
Zach added to his already vast experience of U18 football last season, by featuring regularly in the Academy League and the FA Youth Cup, scoring his first goal in the defeat to Aston Villa. The youngster also made his debut for the U21s, in the game away to Blackburn Rovers.
Zach made his debut for the Wood in last nights 0-1 victory over Maidenhead United putting in a very assured performance in the heart of the Wood defence along side Callum Reynolds.
