David Moli

Boreham Wood are delighted to announce that ex Wolverhampton Wanderers striker David Moli has signed a contract at the club for the remainder of the 2014/15 season.

David who had been on loan at the club last season, has impressed Ian Allinson with his ability, work ethic and desire since joining from Wolves  four weeks ago.

The club believes the ex England schoolboy can now push hard for a regular first team start with us and find the form, that persuaded Liverpool to sign him from Luton Town as a youngster.

Ian Allinson1Wood gaffer Ian Allinson said ” David has immense natural strength and a real presence but he does need to be more consistent. When he’s at it, he gives us an option up front to impose ourselves on teams and is different to my other three strikers. He terrified Carlisle at times with his pace in last seasons FA Cup tie up at theirs and at Hayes last Saturday they couldn’t deal with his power. The Chairman has backed me again, by allowing me to put David on a contract and the squad is now looking as strong, as it ever has during my management at Boreham Wood”..
